Little did I know then, not only how much I would come to love and appreciate photography as an art but also how much my own images would be appreciated – I hit 10,000 views this week!!!!!!
One of the very first photographers I came to love and appreciate was Lara Jade aka: larafairie

It has been such a pleasure over the last few years ‘watching’ this gifted photographer who not only creates the most amazing images but is also so very beautiful (check out her self-portraits):
Her images tell such a story but in a timeless way. When I look at them, I want to literally step inside the picture, not only because I want to be the model (yes ENVY is one of the 7 sins!)….lol but the images just grab hold of my imagination…..they are just flawless!!!
They create such a magical, timeless feel that could be from the latest glossy high end editorial campaign to a priceless work of art created by one of the old masters!!!!
I recently set up my own Burlesque Act ~ CHERIE BEBE ~ and needed some new images. I knew exactly who I wanted to take them
Not only is LARA JADE a gifted and talented photographer she is also one of the loveliest and most beautiful people I have had the pleasure of meeting. It was such a pleasure and a privilege to work with her and the results speak for themselves!!!
I wanted to create a ‘vintage’ feel and asked Lara for something like Phantom of the Opera meets Interview With The Vampire…..
….. this image portrays this perfectly. I can honestly say never before has anyone been able to look right inside my imagination and create what I am thinking…..

Little did I know when you told me about Deviant Art how much I would discover and how my perception of an amazing image would forever be clouded by the standards set here! I remember the first time I discovered Lara Jade, I wanted to be the model in the picture, I didn't at first realise the photographer and model were one and the same...lol, but when I realised Lara became top of my 'wish list' to work with!
As you know (thank you for joining my Cherie Bebe Facebook Fan Page [link] ) I have put together my own Burlesque Act and I knew Lara Jade would be the perfect photographer to capture the image I wanted to portray (vintage, classy, sexy burlesque with a modern twist... [link] ) which she did amazingly. She is such a lovely person in real life (so tiny and soooo beautiful both inside and out!)
Thank you for the lovely comments Michael and for all the lovely memories over the last (nearly 3 years). I hope life is treating you well in the land of the Mounties (my two cousins Carley and Jordan Ashton now live in Canada...lol)
